Shahi Daal ka naam is liye rakha gaya hai kyun ke is ka texture creamy aur taste royal feel deta hai. Is daal ko zyada tar roti, naan ya chawal ke sath khaya jata hai. Ghar ke sab log isay pasand karte hain aur ye daily meal ke liye bhi perfect hai.
Ye recipe beginners ke liye bhi bohat easy hai. Agar aap ko cooking ka zyada experience nahi bhi hai to bhi aap ye daal asaani se bana sakte ho. Is main basic masalay use hote hain jo har ghar main mil jate hain.
Ingredients
- Mixed daal (masoor, moong ya chana) – 1 cup
- Onion – 2 medium (finely chopped)
- Tomato – 2 medium (paste)
- Ginger garlic paste – 1 tablespoon
- Yogurt – half cup
- Butter ya ghee – 2 tablespoon
- Red chili powder – 1 teaspoon
- Turmeric powder – half teaspoon
- Garam masala – half teaspoon
- Salt – as per taste
- Fresh coriander – garnish ke liye
Cooking Method
Sab se pehle daal ko achi tarah wash kar ke 30 minutes ke liye bhigo dein. Phir daal ko pani ke sath boil karein jab tak wo soft na ho jaye. Aik pan main butter ya ghee garam karein aur onion daal kar light golden hone tak fry karein.
Ab ginger garlic paste add karein aur thori dair bhunein. Us ke baad tomato paste aur sare masalay daal dein. Masalay ko itna pakayein ke oil separate hona shuru ho jaye. Ab yogurt add kar ke achi tarah mix karein.
Boiled daal pan main daal dein aur thora pani add kar ke low flame par 10–15 minutes pakayein. End main garam masala aur fresh coriander daal kar flame band kar dein. Aapki Shahi Daal tayar hai.
Serving Suggestion
Shahi Daal ko garam garam roti, naan ya plain rice ke sath serve karein. Fresh khayi jaye to iska taste aur bhi behtar hota hai.
“Aap daal ko chawal ke saath bhi kha sakte hain. Dihaton mein log ise makhan ya desi ghee ke saath bhi khate hain.”
